Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser Review

Today I will be sharing my experience with one such famous product Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser. Neutrogena is quite popular drugstore brand in India. Neutrogena Facial Cleanser is for normal to oily skin It claims "It is a penetrating and through cleanser that improves your complexion." Deep Clean Facial Cleanser works two ways to improve the look and feel of skin.  Here is detailed review on this facial cleanser.


Price:- Rs. 110/ for 50ml & Rs. 440/ for 200ml

Packing & Texture:- It comes in nice little transparent bottle. Packing is super sturdy, leakproof and travel friendly. This face wash has a gel like consistency neither too thick, not too runny. which doesn't foam up a lot. It has gentle, clean and fresh fragrance which is good that doesn't bother sensitive nose and skin.













Ingredients:- Water, Sodium C14 16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium C12 15 Pareth 15 Sulfonate, Salicylic Acid, Linoleamidopropyl PG Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Disodium EDTA, Propylene Glycol, FD&C Yellow 5, FD&C Red 40, Fragrance



My Experience:- It does clean my face well and removes all the dirt and grime. It did not do more than that. It removes oily nicely but doesn't control oil. Face became oily in just two hours of washing. This does make my skin feel a little bit dry. Definitely not something that you should be using in winters as it does dry your skin out. This facial cleanser is very gentle cleanser for oily skin people in summer and monsoon. This could be a good cleanser for sensitive skin because it doesn't cause any redness, irritation and it will not break you out. It may dry your skin out if you do not use a good moisturiser afterwards.


Overall, I would say it's a gentle face wash for oily sensitive skin. It is alcohol free, oil free and non comedogenic cleanser. If you are looking for any brightening effect and thinking that it will help in removing pimple and marks than this one is not for you. It's just a basic face wash that cleanses skin well, that's it.

Cons:-

It does not make my skin feel fresh or smooth ( as claimed by the brand )
It may dry your skin out if you don't follow it with moisturiser.
Not suitable for dry skin people.
